About This Item
The DipaliZ Sunflower Gallery Canvas is a framed cotton canvas print of a sunflower. The canvas is offered in six sizes, from 14″ × 11″ up to 30″ × 20″, and in three frame colors. Printing onto cotton canvas rather than paper gives the surface a matte, woven texture. It suits a kitchen wall, a bright living room, or a gift for someone who likes big botanical art.

The story behind this design
The sunflower is framed tight, so the petals reach the edges of the canvas and the dark seed head sits near the centre. A grunge texture is worked into the background, which stops the yellow reading as flat and gives the piece an aged, painterly surface. The mood is warm and slightly weathered — summer light rather than studio lighting.
