About This Item
The DipaliZ Blue Textured Square Pillow is a square cushion cover printed with an original tulip painting. The DipaliZ Blue Textured Square Pillow cover is made from 100% spun polyester and prints the artwork on both faces. The design lays tulips over a blue ground worked with visible brush texture, so the background behaves like a painted canvas rather than flat colour. The DipaliZ Blue Textured Square Pillow suits a coastal-toned living room, a study or a bedroom built around blues. The printed texture is visual only and the fabric itself stays smooth.

The story behind this design
The interesting part of this piece is the ground rather than the flowers. Blue is built up in layers with the brush marks left showing, so light and dark pool unevenly across the surface the way they would on a real painted panel. The tulips are set against that in simpler, cleaner strokes, which pushes them forward and makes the depth read. It is a quieter floral than most, closer to a still life than to a pattern.
