About This Item
The DipaliZ Valentine Greeting Cards are printed on uncoated cardstock and measure 4.25 by 5.5 inches. Uncoated stock is the reason to choose this set over a glossy card: the surface keeps a natural paper texture and absorbs ink, so a fountain pen or gel pen writes cleanly instead of smudging across a sealed finish. The artwork is an original DipaliZ Valentine design, and sets of 8, 16 and 24 are offered. These cards suit handwritten Valentine's messages, anniversary notes and anyone whose card is mostly about what gets written inside it.

The story behind this design
The artwork is a DipaliZ Valentine design printed on a surface that mutes rather than amplifies colour, which pushes the palette toward something softer than a supermarket Valentine's card. Uncoated stock takes ink slightly into the fibre, so edges read fractionally warmer and less mechanical than on gloss. The mood is handmade in feel without pretending to be handmade in fact.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What does uncoated cardstock mean?
A: Uncoated stock has no gloss layer sealing the surface, so it has a natural paper texture and absorbs pen ink rather than letting it sit on top.
Q: What size are the Valentine cards?
A: Each DipaliZ Valentine card measures 4.25 by 5.5 inches.
Q: How many cards are in a set?
A: The Valentine cards are sold in sets of 8, 16 or 24.
Q: Is the card easy to write on?
A: Yes. The uncoated matte surface takes ballpoint, gel and fountain pen without smudging.
Care
Store the cards flat and dry, away from direct sunlight, so the printed colour stays true until they are sent.
