The story behind this design
A jack-o-lantern is a face cut into a pumpkin, and the design keeps that carved look: flat shapes, hard edges, and the light reading as cut out rather than shaded. Printed on clear glass, the carved openings fall against whatever is in the glass, so a dark drink behind the design makes the face sit forward. The mood is Halloween night rather than harvest table, closer to a porch lantern than a centerpiece.
