The story behind this design
Red is the hardest color to print on a dark shirt and the easiest to overdo on a pale one, so the flowers here are drawn with deep crimson cores and much lighter outer petals to hold their shape on either. The stems cross rather than run parallel, which gives the little bunch the untidy look of something actually picked. It is the warmest of the botanical designs and the one that carries best on Natural and Baby Blue.
