The story behind this design
This artwork treats Juneteenth as a celebration rather than a lesson. The palette leans on the red, black and green long associated with Black liberation, warmed with gold so the sheet feels like a gathering instead of a plaque. The composition centres the date itself, because a commemoration poster only works if the reason for it is legible from the other side of the room.
