The story behind this design
Sheer fabric is lit from behind, which changes how a print behaves: colors go translucent and only the darkest lines hold. The drawing allows for it, with elephants, monkeys and big cats outlined firmly among palm and acacia shapes rather than shaded. In daylight the animals read as silhouettes with color inside them, which is a nursery curtain rather than a jungle wallpaper.
