About This Item
The DipaliZ Lilacs Framed Poster is a framed paper print of a purple lilac still life. The DipaliZ poster shows the blooms arranged in a vase set on a tray, painted as an interior scene rather than as a botanical specimen. The DipaliZ Lilacs Framed Poster is offered in six sizes, with a 16 by 16 inch square option and a 30 by 20 inch print for larger walls, and in black, walnut or white frames. Hanging hardware is included, and the piece suits hallways, bedrooms and spring-toned living rooms.

The story behind this design
Heavy lilac panicles crowd out of a vase, each cluster built from dozens of tiny four-petaled florets in violet, mauve and near-white. The tray beneath grounds the arrangement and gives the picture the intimacy of a table you could reach, rather than a garden you can only look at. Lilacs flower for only a few weeks, and the painting has that short-season quality: full, heavy, and slightly on the point of falling.
