About This Item
This DipaliZ mug is a glazed ceramic coffee cup printed with a love birds and tree design. The birds are paired along the branches, from the DipaliZ Love Is In The Air series. Two sizes are offered, 11 fl oz and 15 fl oz. A ceramic mug holds heat steadily, which is the difference between a coffee that lasts a chapter and one that goes cold. The material and sizes above are the ones this listing sells.

The story behind this design
The birds in this design are always drawn in pairs, turned slightly toward one another on the branch rather than facing out, which is what makes the romance of it legible without a single word of text. The tree is pared back to a few lines so the eye goes to the birds first. Pastel washes keep it gentle; a bolder palette would have pushed the same drawing toward a greetings card.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this DipaliZ mug come in?
A: Two: 11 fl oz and 15 fl oz. The 11 fl oz is the standard coffee mug size; the 15 fl oz takes a large latte or a pot's worth of tea.
Q: What is the mug made of?
A: Ceramic, with a glazed finish.
Q: What does the artwork show?
A: Birds paired on the branches of a tree, from the DipaliZ Love Is In The Air series, printed around the body of the mug.
Q: Is it microwave and dishwasher safe?
A: Hand washing keeps a printed ceramic mug looking right for far longer. Repeated dishwasher cycles will dull the print over time.
Care
Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive scourers on the printed surface.
