The phrase does not need decoration, so the drawing gives it none. The lettering is set clean and level, with the rainbow running through the letterforms themselves rather than sitting behind them as a flag or a stripe. Putting the same artwork on Navy and on Orange was a deliberate choice: on the dark ground the spectrum glows, and on the warm one the red and orange end of it almost merges with the shirt.
