About This Item
This DipaliZ yoga mat prints a pink and teal mandala onto a microfiber suede top laid over a rubber base. The mat measures 24 by 72 inches. Suede holds the fine linework of a mandala more crisply than a bare rubber surface, and its grip improves as it takes up moisture. The mat suits vinyasa, warm rooms and anyone who wants a bright mat rather than a muted one.

The story behind this design
Pink and teal are close to opposite on the color wheel, and the mandala sets them against each other rather than blending them, so the petals seem to advance and recede as you move. The linework is fine enough to read as lace at the outer rings. A near-white ground keeps the two saturated colors from fighting, and gives the whole design somewhere to breathe.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How big is this mat?
A: The DipaliZ Pink Teal Mandala Yoga Mat measures 24 by 72 inches.
Q: What is the mat made of?
A: It has a microfiber suede top over a rubber base.
Q: Does the suede surface get more grip when damp?
A: Yes. Microfiber suede holds more firmly as it takes up moisture, which is why it is used for mats intended for warmer practice.
Q: How does this differ from the earth-toned mandala mat?
A: This one is a bright pink and teal mandala on a near-white ground with a suede top. The earth-toned mandala mat uses warm browns and ochres on a natural rubber surface.
Care
Wipe the suede surface with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let the mat air dry flat before rolling it up. Keep it out of direct sunlight and do not machine wash or tumble dry.
