The story behind this design
The mandala opens outward in the order a lotus does: tight overlapping petals at the core, then two rings that widen and separate, then a loose outer band that almost breaks apart. Color moves with it, from a hot coral centre through teal to a pale border, which is what gives a flat medallion the impression of depth. Against navy the outer ring nearly disappears, so the bag reads as a glowing core rather than a printed circle.
