The story behind this design

A mandala is a map for the eye to travel inward, which is why it belongs on something you look down at while breathing. The om sits at the center and the rings build outward in colors that get warmer toward the edge. On a 72-inch mat the full pattern only resolves when you step back, so it rewards rolling the mat out properly.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How big is the DipaliZ mandala om yoga mat?
A: The mat measures 24 by 72 inches, which is the only size offered.

Q: What is the base of the mat made of?
A: The mat has a natural rubber base, which is what gives it grip on a hard floor.

Q: Is the mat non-slip?
A: Yes. The natural rubber base is designed to hold position on a studio or home floor.

Q: Is this a yoga mat or a rug?
A: This is a 24 by 72 inch yoga and pilates mat with a rubber base, not a floor rug.

Care

Wipe the mat clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it dry flat before rolling it up. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which can harden a rubber base over time.
