The story behind this design
The continent is treated as a single shape rather than a set of borders, which is what lets the outline carry the whole design. Internal detail is kept sparse so the silhouette stays readable from across a room. The result reads as a graphic rather than a geography lesson.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which frame colors does this map poster offer?
A: This listing offers the ayous wood frame in red oak or white.
Q: How many sizes are there?
A: Eleven sizes are offered, from 10x10 inches up to 24x36 inches, including four square shapes.
Q: Is the map labeled with country names?
A: The artwork is a decorative map of the African continent rather than a reference atlas plate, so it is intended as wall art rather than as a source for place names.

A: Yes. The paper print is mounted in the ayous wood frame before it ships.
Care
Dust the frame and glazing with a dry, soft cloth. A light wood frame shows marks, so wipe rather than polish, and keep the poster off damp walls.
