The story behind this design
Leading with bed number rather than patient name is a deliberate ordering decision, and a sensible one for a sheet that may be read by someone who has just walked onto the ward. A soft vintage floral motif sits behind the heading at low opacity, warm enough to soften a clinical form without making the fields hard to pick out. Everything else is ruled plainly, in the order a handover is actually spoken.
