The story behind this design

At two inches a graphic has to survive being shrunk to a thumbnail, so the design is built around a single bold form with the dates reading clearly inside it. The distressing is drawn rather than filtered, which means it stays crisp at six inches instead of turning to mush. Navy and crimson carry it, with the white vinyl doing the work of the third color.
