DipaliZ Merry Christmas Greeting Cards Uncoated Cardstock

These DipaliZ cards carry a Merry Christmas greeting printed on matte uncoated cardstock. Uncoated stock matters more than it sounds: because the surface is not sealed, a pen writes on it without skidding or smearing, which is exactly what a card that will be handwritten needs. Each card folds to 4.25 by 5.5 inches and comes with a size-matching white envelope. Packs of 8, 16 and 24 are listed. The stock is robust enough for long-distance post. The pack suits anyone sending cards abroad or across a country.

The story behind this design

Merry Christmas is the subject here, drawn rather than typeset, with the letters given slightly uneven weights so the line looks written by a hand that was enjoying itself. Around it the card is kept clear. A single warm ink on pale uncoated stock gives the whole thing the look of a letterpress card rather than a printed one.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What paper are these Merry Christmas cards printed on?
A: Matte uncoated cardstock. Uncoated means the surface is not sealed, so it takes pen ink readily.

Q: Do the envelopes match the card size?
A: Yes. Size-matching white envelopes are supplied, cut to the 4.25 by 5.5 inch card.

Q: How many cards are in a pack?
A: Packs of 8, 16 and 24 cards are listed.

Q: Can these be posted internationally?
A: The cardstock is robust and the envelopes are cut to size, which is what the listing is built for: cards that travel a long way without creasing.

Care

Store the cards and envelopes flat and dry. On uncoated stock, let ink dry a few seconds before folding the card closed.
