The story behind this design
The interest is in the overlaps. Where two color fields cross, a third tone appears that is in neither of them, and the composition is arranged so those crossings fall near the center of each passage. The palette is cooler than the other abstracts in the range, slate and sea green with one warm ochre running through, which is what stops it going cold.
