About This Item
This DipaliZ wall piece is an abstract sunset landscape printed on an acrylic panel. The panel is 0.25 inches deep and is offered in four horizontal sizes: 7 by 5, 10 by 8, 14 by 11 and 20 by 16 inches. Printing onto acrylic gives the colors a glassy surface and a little depth behind them.

The story behind this design
The horizon is set low, so most of the panel is given over to the sky and the bands of color stacked across it, from a deep coral at the waterline up through apricot into a cooling violet. The land below is reduced to two or three flat shapes with no detail at all, which keeps the eye on the light. It is the kind of view that lasts about four minutes in real life, painted so it stays.
