About This Item
This DipaliZ ceramic mug holds 11 fluid ounces and carries the line You Make Every Day Brighter in a gold-toned script. Ceramic takes script cleanly, which matters when the lettering is the whole design. The wording avoids a date or an occasion, so the mug reads as a Mother's Day gift in May and simply as a kind thing to drink from in November.

The story behind this design
Script on a curved surface distorts, so the lettering here is set on a gentle arc that follows the mug rather than running dead straight across it. The gold tone is warm rather than metallic bright, which keeps it from looking like a novelty print. Nothing else competes with the words: the ground is left plain, and the only other mark is a small flourish closing the line.
