The story behind this design
The valley is built in flat receding bands: dark ridges at the front, mid-blue slopes behind them, and pale peaks at the back where the air thins. No single feature is detailed, because the depth comes from the stacking rather than from the drawing. The name sits low in the foreground, where the land is darkest and lettering reads best.
