About This Item
The DipaliZ Muir Woods Satin Poster is a black and white forest print on satin paper. Four sizes are listed, from 11 by 14 inches up to 24 by 36 inches. A satin finish holds depth in the dark tones without throwing back reflections the way a gloss surface does. The print suits a hallway, an office or any wall that needs quiet rather than color.

The story behind this design
Muir Woods is almost impossible to photograph in color, because the light arrives green and the scale disappears. Black and white solves both problems at once: the trunks become vertical bands, the canopy becomes texture, and the eye reads height rather than hue.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this poster come in?
A: Four sizes are listed: 11 by 14, 12 by 18, 16 by 20 and 24 by 36 inches.
Q: Does this poster come framed?
A: The poster is supplied as an unframed print.
Q: What does a satin finish look like?

Q: What is the subject?
A: The image is a black and white forest study of Muir Woods, the redwood grove north of San Francisco.
Care
Handle the print by its edges and hang it away from direct sunlight. Dust a framed print through the glazing rather than touching the paper.
