The story behind this design
Liberty is drawn from below and slightly off-center, the angle a person actually gets from the water rather than the flat postcard elevation. The torch and crown are picked out in a warm oxidised green that reads as copper turning, while the rest of the figure is held back in near-monochrome. Every colorway in this range is dark for that reason: the design needs a night sky behind it to work.
