About This Item
This DipaliZ comforter is a printed bed cover in a pastel floral design. It is offered in four sizes, from 68 by 88 inches up to 104 by 88 inches. Flowers in pink, yellow and teal are spread across the top face, brighter in tone than the vintage prints in the same range. The story behind this design
Three colors that do not naturally sit together is the challenge this design sets itself. Pink and yellow would collapse into each other without the teal, which acts as the cool break between them, so the teal is given to the leaves and stems rather than to any flower. Keeping all three at the same lightness is what stops one of them winning.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which colors are in this design?
A: The DipaliZ pastel floral comforter prints flowers in pink and yellow with the leaves and stems in teal.
Q: What sizes does it come in?
A: This DipaliZ comforter is offered in four sizes: 68 by 88 inches, 68 by 92 inches, 88 by 88 inches and 104 by 88 inches.
Q: Why is the foliage teal rather than green?
A: Teal is the cool break that keeps the pink and the yellow apart in the DipaliZ design, which is why it was given to the leaves and stems.
Q: Is it brighter than the other DipaliZ floral comforters?
A: Yes. The vintage blossom, peach and rose listings are faded in tone. This pastel floral is the brightest floral in the DipaliZ comforter range.
