The flowers are drawn in washed-out pinks, lilacs and mint, sized small and spaced evenly so the pattern reads as a scatter rather than a bouquet. Nothing in the palette goes above half strength, which is what makes it wearable with a plain dress. It was drawn for shade and early evening rather than midday sun.
