The story behind this design
Stripes are the oldest pattern there is and the hardest to make feel current, so this design moves the interest into the color rather than the geometry. Bands of pale mint, butter, apricot and dusty blue sit side by side at uneven widths, which keeps the rhythm from turning mechanical. The result reads as retro without naming a decade.
