About This Item
The DipaliZ Paw Prints and Dogs Pet Bed is a printed bed with a polyester print face and a 100% cotton underside. The design fills the top with drawn dogs of several breeds moving among scattered paw prints, so the pattern has more going on in it than a plain paw repeat. DipaliZ makes the bed in three sizes: 28 by 18, 40 by 30 and 50 by 40 inches. A zipper closure is recorded for the cover.

The story behind this design
This is the busiest of the DipaliZ pet bed designs, and the density is the point: a bed that is largely covered by a sleeping animal only ever shows fragments of its pattern, so a crowded drawing keeps something interesting visible at the edges. Each dog is caught mid-stride rather than sitting, which gives the whole surface a sense of movement that a bed of static silhouettes would not have.
