The story behind this design
Peacocks step through a loose field of wildflowers, their tails drawn in pale turquoise and dusty rose rather than the usual saturated blues. The whole palette is dialed down to pastel, which turns a showy bird into something closer to a watercolor study. Flowers fill the corners so the composition still reads when the cloth hangs over a table edge.
