About This Item
This DipaliZ gift wrap is a satin-finish paper printed with penguins among falling snowflakes. Two sheet sizes are sold, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. The penguins are drawn as rounded characters rather than as accurate birds, which is what makes the sheet work for a child. Blue carries the background and the snow sits over it.

The story behind this design
A penguin is mostly a black oval, and an oval is a hard shape to make expressive. The answer used here is posture: each bird leans a slightly different way, one tipped back, one mid-waddle, one looking up at the snow. Nothing about the drawing is anatomically careful, and that is deliberate, because a child reading the paper wants a character rather than a field guide.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does this gift wrap come in?
A: Two sheet sizes, 28 by 39 inches and 28 by 79 inches. You choose one at checkout.
Q: Who is this gift wrap for?
A: It suits children's Christmas and birthday gifts, though the winter design is not age-specific.
Q: What is printed on it?
A: Penguins drawn as rounded characters, set among falling snowflakes on a blue ground.
Q: Are the penguins realistic?
A: No. They are drawn as simple characters with varied postures rather than as accurate birds.
Care
Keep the wrapping paper rolled rather than folded and store it somewhere dry, because damp softens paper and a fold line shows through a finished parcel. Cut it against a straight edge for a clean edge.
