The story behind this design
Spices give a painter colors that herbs cannot: turmeric yellow, paprika red, the deep brown of star anise. The border uses them as accents between green sprigs, so the frame has warm and cool passages rather than one flat tone. Painted wet, the ground spices spread into soft clouds, which is exactly how they behave in a pan.
Frequently asked questions

Q: How many sheets are in the pad?
A: The DipaliZ watercolor spice recipe notepad has 50 sheets.
Q: Can the notepad hang on a fridge?
A: Yes. The pad has a magnetic backing for fridges, filing cabinets and magnetic whiteboards.
Q: How does this differ from the other DipaliZ personalized herb notepad?
A: This pad's border is painted with whole and ground spices alongside the herbs; the other herb pad keeps to green garden sprigs only.
Care
Keep the notepad dry and store it flat so the sheets stay crisp. Tear sheets from the top edge rather than pulling from the side. The magnetic backing wipes clean with a dry cloth.
