The story behind this design
Rosemary, thyme and sage are painted as loose sprigs rather than botanical specimens, with the water left visible at the leaf tips. The greens are kept grayish and kitchen-garden rather than bright, so handwriting in blue or black ink sits comfortably against them. It is the look of a herb bed in late summer, which is when a cook most needs somewhere to write things down.

Care
Keep the notepad dry and store it flat so the sheets stay crisp. Tear sheets from the top edge rather than pulling from the side. The magnetic backing wipes clean with a dry cloth.
