About This Item
This DipaliZ notebook is a spiral-bound lined notebook with a blue wave cover headed Notes and Ideas. A name typed in by the buyer on the product page is printed on the cover, so the name in the photographs is a sample. DipaliZ lists the notebook at roughly 6 by 8 inches and sells it in one size. The ruling, the binding and the personalization are taken from this listing's own product record.

The story behind this design
The wave is painted flat and graphic, a single curl of deep blue rolling across the lower third of the cover with a thin line of foam at its crest. Above it the pale ground is left almost empty for the heading and the name. It reads as calm rather than nautical, which is the difference between a wave and an anchor.

Care
Keep the notebook dry and store it flat or upright on a shelf rather than loose in a bag, so the spiral does not catch and bend. Wipe the cover with a barely damp cloth if it picks up marks, and keep it out of long direct sunlight, which fades printed covers over time.
