The story behind this design
The artwork moves in so close that the flower loses its outline and becomes layered fields of pink instead, with individual petal edges and the fine texture at the center filling the whole frame. Because there is no stem, no vase and no horizon, the piece works almost as an abstract color study that happens to be botanical. The pinks run warm at the core and cool toward the edges, which gives the print depth from across a room.
