The story behind this design
Lilies are drawn here as botanical studies rather than graphics: six petals each, recurved at the tips, with the speckling inside the throat painted in rather than simplified away. The stamens reach beyond the petal line, which is what gives the flower its reach across the case. Pinks run from near-white to deep magenta in the throat.
