The story behind this design
Paisley is a crowded motif by nature, so the teardrops here were spaced wider than tradition allows to keep the tie calm at close range. Pink carries the pattern and cream opens the gaps, which stops the repeat reading as one block of color from across a room. The scale was set so a four-in-hand knot shows two full teardrops rather than cutting one in half.
