About This Item
The DipaliZ Pink Roses Notepad is a paper pad printed on FSC-certified stock and mounted on a hard cardboard backing. The backing holds the pad rigid so each of the 40 or 50 single-sided pages tears away cleanly from the top. Three sizes are offered, including a 4.25 by 9 inch pad with a magnetic backing and a full 11 by 8.5 inch desk pad. The artwork is an original DipaliZ study of pink roses. Every material and size fact below is drawn from this listing's own tags and size options.

The story behind this design
Pink is the difficult rose color — too pale and it disappears on paper, too strong and it turns synthetic. DipaliZ settled on a dusty mid-pink with grey in the shadows, closer to a garden rose past its first day than a florist's bud. The blooms are drawn open, petals loosening, which gives the pad an unhurried quality quite unlike the usual tight rosette.
