The story behind this design
The phrase “Leaf Me Alone” is hand-lettered and partly overlapped by a cluster of potted succulents and leafy stems, so the greenery interrupts the words on purpose. The pun is botanical rather than grumpy: the leaves are what deliver the line, which is why the design still reads as friendly. Printed on white ceramic, the greens and terracottas keep their contrast without needing a heavy outline.
