About This Item
The DipaliZ Plant Shelf canvas tote is a 15 by 16 inch cotton canvas bag. The tote is printed with an illustrated plant shelf of succulents and potted houseplants above the phrase Be Patient With Yourself. Cotton canvas gives the bag enough structure to stand up on a counter when it is full. This tote is made for gardeners, students and anyone who wants a reminder to slow down carried on the outside of their bag.

The story behind this design
The illustration reads as a real shelf: pots of different heights, a trailing string-of-pearls at one end, and a squat echeveria holding the middle so the eye has somewhere to land. The colors are washed and soft — sage, dusty terracotta, a chalky blue-green — which is why the piece sits comfortably on both the natural and the black canvas. The lettering sits low and small, so the message arrives after the plants do, which is rather the point of it.
