The story behind this design
The joke borrows the language of a billing dispute and aims it at a person, which is why it works printed on something handed over at a party. Typography does all the work, with no illustration and no border, so the line has to be set large and spaced to stay readable around a curve. The mood is dry rather than loud: a glass that makes its point without a punchline drawn on it.
