The story behind this design
A polar bear is mostly white, which makes it a difficult subject for a knit — all the character has to come from the outline and the shadow. DipaliZ solved it by letting the red hat carry the colour and giving the bear a slightly baffled expression, as though the hat were somebody else's idea. It is a fond drawing rather than a cartoon.
