The story behind this design

The latte is drawn as a takeaway cup with a lid and a sleeve, seen straight on, with cinnamon-coloured steam rising in two curls. Keeping the cup rather than a pumpkin as the central object is what makes the design read coffee-shop instead of harvest-field. On dark grounds the cream of the cup carries the whole image.
