Pumpkins sit among apples, pears and berries here, so the design is a harvest basket rather than a Halloween motif — the fruit is what stops it reading as a costume. Everything is drawn as simple flat shapes with heavy outlines, scaled up deliberately, because a footbed is small and a child looks at it from directly above. Bright oranges and greens at full strength, the way a kid would pick them.
