The story behind this design
Purple and blue bleed into one another in wide soft bands, with no hard boundary anywhere in the artwork. Printed on a brushed surface the colors sink slightly, which is why the pattern looks closer to dyed fabric than to print. The darker purple pools toward the hem, so the leg reads heavier at the bottom than at the waist.
