About This Item
The DipaliZ purple hyacinth desk mat is a neoprene mat printed with hyacinth blooms in purple. Three sizes are sold: 12" x 18", 12" x 22" and 16" x 32". Hyacinth flowers grow as dense vertical spikes, which gives this design a rhythm most floral prints do not have. This DipaliZ mat suits a home office, a study desk or a spring refresh of a workspace. Sizes and material are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design
A hyacinth is the most architectural of the spring bulbs: dozens of small florets packed onto an upright spike, so the flower reads as a shape before it reads as petals. This design keeps the spikes upright and repeats them, which sets up a vertical beat across a horizontal mat. The mood is fresh and orderly, spring with its shirt tucked in.
