The story behind this design
Kaleidoscope symmetry is a natural fit for a square you sit on, because the design has no single correct orientation. One wedge of psychedelic color is mirrored around the middle until the whole face resolves into a bloom of repeated shapes. The palette runs hot through the center and cools toward the corners, which keeps a busy pattern from flattening out.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes is this floor pillow available in?
A: The DipaliZ Rainbow Kaleidoscope Floor Pillow is sold at 26 by 26 inches and 30 by 30 inches.
Q: What is a kaleidoscope print?
A: It is a design built by mirroring one wedge of pattern repeatedly around a center point, so the result is symmetrical in every direction.
Q: Can it be used as a meditation cushion?
A: Yes. A 26 or 30 inch square floor pillow gives a wide seat for cross-legged sitting, which is why floor pillows are often used that way.
Q: Does the tufting change how the print looks?
A: The tufting pulls the surface into shallow dimples, so the printed color catches the light differently across the face of the pillow.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, working gently around the tufted dimples. Let the pillow air dry fully before use. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or bleach.
