DipaliZ Electric Rainbow Yoga Mat Foam Non Slip Grip

The DipaliZ Electric Rainbow Yoga Mat is a 24 by 72 inch foam mat covered in rippling bands of saturated color. The bands vary in width, so the pattern never settles into stripes. Foam keeps the mat light for carrying between home and a studio. The mat suits yoga, Pilates and home workouts.

The story behind this design

The ripple was drawn by pushing a set of parallel lines out of true, so each band bends independently and none of them stays the same width along its run. The color is turned up to full saturation with no tints or shades, which is where the electric in the name comes from. Because the bands move at different rates, the pattern reads as liquid rather than as a stripe.
