About This Item
This DipaliZ accent mug is a white ceramic cup with a colored interior and handle, printed with a reindeer and festive foliage design. The mug holds 11 oz. Four accent colors are offered: black, navy, pink and red. The outer wall stays white so the printed artwork sits against a clean ground, while the contrasting color shows at the rim, inside the cup and along the handle.

The story behind this design
An accent mug gives the designer a second color for free, so this reindeer is drawn to make use of it. The animal and the sprigs of berry and foliage around it are kept in a narrow range of warm tones on the white wall, and the accent at the rim and handle does the work of a border that never had to be printed. Choosing red or pink pushes the whole thing festive; black or navy keeps it closer to a winter illustration than a Christmas one.
