Retro Cassette and Rocket
About This Item
This DipaliZ notepad is a letter-size paper pad bordered with cassette tapes and rockets. The pad carries 50 sheets and a magnetic backing for mounting on metal. Spooled tapes, launch rockets and starbursts run around an open writing area. The notepad suits retro gift giving, mixtape nostalgia and desks that could use less seriousness.

The story behind this design
A cassette and a rocket are both promises about the future made in the past, which is why they sit together so easily. The border draws them in flat block color with heavy outlines, the look of a sticker sheet from a school bag. Nothing here is subtle, and that is the point of a pad meant to be handed to someone as a joke that lands.

Q: How is this different from the other DipaliZ retro notepads?
A: This pad pairs cassettes with rockets in flat block color; the 80s Space and Music pad adds musical motifs, and the Retro Watercolor pad draws cassettes, cars and rockets in loose washes.
Care
Keep the notepad dry and store it flat so the sheets stay crisp. Tear sheets from the top edge rather than pulling from the side. The magnetic backing wipes clean with a dry cloth.
