About This Item
The DipaliZ Scary Halloween Pumpkins Sipper is a 16 oz drinking glass made from clear tempered glass. The artwork is a group of carved jack o lantern faces printed around the glass. It is offered with a lid and straw, or without, and is assembled in the USA. The sipper is made for Halloween itself rather than the whole autumn, and the clear glass means the drink inside becomes part of the effect.

The story behind this design
Carved pumpkins are lit from inside, and a clear glass is the only DipaliZ surface that can do the same thing literally. The faces are printed in solid black with the cut-out eyes and mouths left unprinted, so whatever is in the glass shows through them: orange for a punch, dark for a cola, nothing at all when it is empty. The joke only works on glass, which is why this design was not put on a steel tumbler.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is the DipaliZ Halloween sipper made from?
A: Clear tempered glass. Tempering makes the glass stronger than ordinary glassware and more tolerant of temperature change.
Q: What capacity is it?
A: 16 oz, in one size.
Q: Does it come with a lid and straw?
A: That is your choice at checkout. The Type option offers With lid and straw, or Without lid or straw.
Q: Is the artwork Halloween-specific?
A: Yes. The design is scary carved pumpkins, drawn for Halloween rather than as a general autumn motif.
Care
Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Do not put the printed glass in a dishwasher or a microwave, and avoid sudden temperature changes such as boiling water into a cold glass.
