The story behind this design
The brief was a planner that looks like something from a wardrobe rather than an office. The motifs borrow from fashion illustration, quick confident lines and no shading, and they are held to the header so the seven-day grid underneath stays uncluttered. Color is used once, at the top, and then withheld entirely.
